Since the news that the makers have decided to reboot the Spiderman franchise, I was a bit upset. As I loved the original Spiderman series, even though I hated the third installment for certain reasons. But I thought this should not be a reason to reboot a series which we the audiences have seen like some years ago. And when Marc Webb got associated with the project and Andrew Garfield of The Social Network joined in, I thought maybe they can make something watchable. But still I was not sure I would love to watch a movie which I have seen in theatres some years ago and now will have to watch the same with some new actors.
And then came the trailer for this reboot and I was like, this movie is so going to suck. I personally didn’t like the trailer and thought that the movie looks exactly like its predecessor. Even though many of my friends and other audiences seemed to have liked the trailer. And now when the new trailer has been launched my hopes and faith for the movie has increased, as the new trailer is like a zillion times better than the first one and I have a certain feeling that the movie is similar but surely will a bit different.
Well all that will be answered when the movie will be released worldwide on July 3rd 2012. And even though the movie was in my list of Most anticipated movies of 2012, it was a forced anticipation. And now it is not. What about you, did you like the trailer and is The Amazing Spiderman one of your Most Anticipated movie of 2012. Well pour in your thoughts about all this in the comments section below.
The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans and opens in theaters July 3rd.
