The film had successfully collected the highest ever business for any Bollywood movie which has been released on Laxmi puja day, with a domestic collection of just about Rs 50 crores in its first 3 days itself. Moreover, the film also had a garnered good response at the overseas box-office, grossing more than 3.5 million USD in just 3 days.
In one of his recent interaction, Katrina had expressed that she is truly happy that the movie is doing very well and that the audiences have also hugged it the way it should deserve. Proving for another time that she is the much-loved actress of the masses and a lucky mascot for YRF banner, Katrina had gained lots of praises from all over for playing the typical Yash Chopra's heroine.
