Superstar Hrithik Roshan apparently became the highest paid actor in Bollywood, by charging a shocking amount of Rs 30 crore from Fox Star Studios for their upcoming action film - official remake of Knight And Day that starred Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in lead. The film would be directed by Siddharth Anand.
Reportedly, Hrithik has raised his price for the second time in six years, and this time the actor had jumped from his earlier 21 percent to a jaw-dropping 50 percent increase in the fee. With this, he had successfully became the highest paid actor in Bollywood by breaking the rage of Salman Khan, who had apparently charged Rs 27 crore from Yash Raj Films for his blockbuster film 'Ek Tha Tiger'.
Though Hrithik and the production house had chosen to shut their mouth regarding the deal, but few of the experts and analysts had confirmed the news by contrarily saying, 'So what if Hrithik is charging Rs 30 crore for the film? I think it's less compared to what he gives in to his projects.'
The shoot of the Indian version of Knight and Day will go on floors from February 2013. Hrithik Roshan is being paired with Katrina Kaif in the film.
