It seems like Bollywood's superstars are in the mood to act in kindness and charity. After Salman Khan who recently took his Dabangg crew for a shopping spree in Dubai, it's now Khiladi Akshay Kumar who had surprised the technicians of his film Khiladi 786 by giving them a bonus of Rs 12 lakh and 80 thousand altogether.
Akshay Kumar turned into Santa this winter and gifted this huge sum of bonus to his approximately team of 88 crew members on the final day of Khiladi 786 shoot. It is being said that the actor realized the efforts taken by the technicians behind the scenes, and felt that they are not being paid so well.
Reportedly, when Akshay was shooting for his Khiladi 786 item number 'Balma' at Lokhandwala, just after an hour of wrapping up the shoot, he surprised his technicians by giving them a bonus of Rs 12 lakh and 80 thousand in total. Interestingly, the workers were paid according to their grade. While Grade-B workers were given from Rs 9-11 thousand, workers of Grade-C were given from 5-8 thousand each.
Production head of the film, Rajendra Toraskar confirmed the above news by saying that Akshay usually does this act of kindness in every of his films. Looks like for the team of Khiladi 786, Santa came a bit too early!
