A new trailer for The Darkest Hour has gone online. And we like it. Although the movie looks like any other alien genre movie. It does promise to have a good story and nice special effects. The aliens here are invisible and as we have seen many alien movies, invisible aliens are not something new.
The movie follows the life of young Us tourists who are in Russia to have a good time and then starts an alien invasion where these invisible aliens who can be seen as flashes of light as they feed on light energy. The concept is not unique but it surely will be worth giving a shot. The thing I like the most was the way these aliens kill human, just touch me and die. The idea is pretty nice and there is good star cast considering the actors we see in the trailers. So I hope this movie would not disappoint like those alien movies that first promise a lot and deliver nothing.
Watch the trailer here. The movie has been produced by Timur Beckmambetov and Tom Jacobson, and the movie has actors like Emile Hirsch, Joel Kinnaman, and the movie has been directed by the director Chris Gorak. The Darkest Hour hits the theatres in 3D on Christmas Day.
