A new trailer for the movie Goon which is a comedy on Hockey starring Sean William Scott has gone online. And this trailer is the fourth trailer that the makers have released so far. Yes it’s the fourth in like two months, but anyways this looks like one of the best trailers they have released so far. The movie is hilarious even if you don’t look at the trailer and know that Sean William Scott is in the movie. But the trailer is just awesome, with a story where a man from the crowd who knocks down a hockey player and know is selected as a player. Yes and he just keeps punching people. The movie was premiered at the TIFF and was appreciated at the festival.
Anyways have a good look at the trailer; it will surely crack you up. The movie apart from Sean also stars Jay Baruchel (who has also co-written the movie), Live Schreiber, and Alison Pill. Goon opens March 30th, 2012.
Here’s the synopsis for Goon:
Doug Glatt, is like any other man in many terms. But when it comes to a fist fight, he has some special talent. And when a hockey coach watches him in a brawl, he is invited to play in the team as the “muscle”. And then from nowhere, Doug becomes an overnight hero of the team. Fans love him and he rises up the ladder. But this is continues only till the league’s reigning goon becomes threatened by Glatt’s success and decides to even the score.
