Bollywood Stars Visit Ailing Bal Thackeray At Matoshree

Matoshree saw an attendance of the high and mighty as well as commoners who came to pay a visit to the leader who has created ripples in the political arena.

Commonly known as the tiger of Maharashtra, Bal Thackeray has been suffering from age related ailments and is supposedly in a critical condition. Hearing this created ripples amongst the masses. Even the super stars of Bollywood were not far behind and thronged Matoshree to enquire about his health.

Some of the stars who paid a visit to Matoshree were Salman Khan along with his family members, Madhur Bhandarkar, The Kapoor brothers- Randhir and Rishi, Manoj Kumar. Amitabh Bachchan whose granddaughter turned a year old today too paid a second visit to check on the health of the ailing Thackeray.

Film maker Madhur Bhandarkar, actor Mahesh Manjrekar and the elusive Nana Patekar too were spotted visiting the patriarch.

Sanjay Dutt too came with wife Manyata in tow. Amongst other visitors Juhi Chawla, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, Mithun Chakraborty, Vikram Gokhale and others were seen paving their way towards Matoshree.

Besides Bollywood, the high and mighty industrialists and political bigwigs too cut across party lines and paid a visit to the ailing Thackeray.

But the most awe inspiring thing is that the masses gave up on their festivities and celebrations to be by the side of their leader.

This just shows the reverence he has in the heart of the aam janta.
