No. Of Views : 4158

Dated : November, 29, 2012 BY

Bollywood has been a full fledged entertainer from romantic flicks to suspense thrillers to ones like that of Bond. However, after Saif Ali Khan in Agent Vinod and Salman Khan in Ek Tha Tiger, it is Irrfan Khan to play a role of an agent in Nikhil Advani's D-Day. Reports also say that legend Rishi Kapoor will play Dawood in the film.

We all know that usually, agents in the Bollywood films are not only intelligent but great at physique. On the contrary, Irrfan interestingly revealed that he is portraying a raw agent who is stationed outside (Rishi Kapoor) Dawood Ibrahim's house in Pakistan and does't require to sport a good physique like that of Arjun Rampal who is working on stunts as Arjun playing a army man in the film.

Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan

Well, an agent is always incomplete without his lady love! However, now an internationally known actor, Irrfan Khan warily said that he may not romance with any lady in the film.

To believe the reports, director Nikhil has already taken the shoot on the floors and casted the Gangs of Wasseypur actress Huma Qureshi who plays an immigration officer in D-Day.

Wondering about the story? After directing well-to-do films like Patiala House and Delhi Safari, Nikhil Advani was inspired by 1993 blasts that had badly affected Mumbai and thus he thought to make an espionage film titled D-Day. Interestingly, the director revealed that the film has lot of action sequences too.
