Being born as the son of actress Nishi and film producer, director Rajkumar Kohli, Bollywood was not alien to this actor who has debuted as a child artist in Badle Ki Aag in the year 1982. Later he was also seen in the film Raj Tilak in the year 1984. As a child actor he received a lot of praise and he had decided to make his presence felt in the Bollywood industry as an actor. Exactly a decade later in 1992, he realized his dream when he featured as the lead role in Virodhi. Despite his father’s backing, the film bombed at the box office. However his dad did not give up and once more within a year came up with a new project Aulad Ke Dushman. Unfortunately his stars did not favor him this time too. Still the dedicated star did not give up and tried his luck once more in the year 1997 with the film Qahar. Sadly this was the third time he had tasted failure. In between he also tried his luck at other ventures apart from his home production and you can see him in films like Dushman Zamana, Anaam etc.
Having failed to taste success in his career, he also changed his name to Munish Kohli before trying his luck once more in the industry. However his comeback film Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani in the year 2002 too shattered his hopes and he took a last ditch attempt and made an appearance in LOC: Kargil in the year 2003.
Post that he took a long hiatus and in the year 2013, appeared in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 7 where he is known for his temper tantrums.
Armaan is known to court controversies and he has also been involved in a hit and run case in the year 2002.
Age has taken its toll on the star and he remains a shadow of what he originally was. Yet, his stint at Bigg Boss 7 was entertaining and irritating at the same time.
