One of the popular shows of Sony Entertainment Television, Amita Ka Amit, will now soon go off-air because of its low TRPs.
Although the daily soap started on a good note, but it didn't continued long in winning hearts of viewers and is witnessing continuous fall in its ratings. The story revolves around of an average-looking and plump girl, who has fallen in love with a smart businessman in an arranged marriage set-up. Chandni Bhagwanani, who enacts the role of Amita with poise and shares a very good chemistry with Nishad Vaidya (plays the role of Amit), is much-loved by the fans of the telly series.
Producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary reveals, "We did our best but the serial's ratings were on the lower side. It's the channel's decision to take it off air and we have to accept it."
The date of the show going off air is not yet final. Chandni Bhagwanani, who lately met with a small accident on the sets of the same serial, says that she will miss the shooting moments once it goes off air.
