The well-known filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who is every ready with his experimental techniques, is back with another experimental movie, titled as 'Bhoot Returns'. This time he has chosen the horror genre, and is said to be the sequel of 2003 hit movie 'Bhoot' that starred Ajay Devgn and Urmila Matondkar.
The trailer of the movie 'Bhoot Returns' opens with an interesting note that says, "Some people can't wait to move into new houses and some houses can't wait for new people to move in". This gives a sense of a spooky feeling and also a small hint regarding the basic plot of the sequel.
The promo features a cute little girl playing with a spirit in the living room, and then certain series of unimaginable and unbelievable spooky events occurs in the life of little girl's family, where everything turns upside down. However what's more interesting is that the movie is being somewhat filmed through a webcam or handheld cameras, much like the famous 'Paranormal Activity' series.
Written by Ravi Shankar and Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, the film is produced by Jitendra Jain under the banner of Eros International and Alumbra Entertainment. Starring Manisha Koirala, J D Chakravarthy, Madhu Shalini and Alayana Sharma in lead roles, the film will be screened in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. 'Bhoot Returns' is scheduled to release in theatres on October 12, 2012.
