Shootout At Wadala Trailer: It's Explosive!

The first look promo of Shootout At Wadala is out in stores, and it's indeed an explosive one! It's a prequel to the blockbuster movie 'Shootout At Lokhandwala', and is all set to release in theatres on May 1, 2013.

As one would expect, the trailer of the much-awaited movie looks very much interesting and attention-grabbing with some impressive dialogues delivered by John Abraham, Sonu Sood, Anil Kapoor, Manoj Bajpai and others. The film has been mostly shot in slums in Mumbai, and the trailer is filled with full of action-packed scenes.

Shootout At Wadala

Shootout At Wadala is an unbelievable true story of the first-ever encounter happened in Bombay (Mumbai). It's an epic story in the company of irresistible machismo, where the movie showcases the terrifying gang wars that went out of control in Bombay, and terminates in a hotheaded 3-way face-off between the dreaded gangster Dawood (Sonu Sood), the infamous and enigmatic gangster Manya Surve (John Abraham), and lastly the dutiful fearless Inspector Isaaque Bagwaan (Anil Kapoor).

Manya Surve, played by John Abraham, was shot dead in Wadala, Mumbai. The film will dramatise the first-ever registered encounter by Mumbai police, where Surve was shot at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Sangam Nagar, Wadala on 1 November 1982.

Directed by Sanjay Gupta, 'Shootout At Wadala' is produced by Ekta Kapoor. Apart from the abovementioned cast, the film also features Kangna Ranaut, Tusshar Kapoor and others. Actress Priyanka Chopra will also be appearing in a cameo appearance and in an item number-mujra song.
