It looks like the lost charm of Ram Gopal Varma is back. The award-winning filmmaker, who had spellbound the viewers through his movies such as Satya, Company, Sarkar and much more, had recently launched the first look video of his upcoming film 'The Attacks Of 26/11' at Nehru Auditorium (Mumbai), in the company of all the media, survivors, and as well as those police officers and constables who had personally experienced those attacks in any way.
The first look video of the film is not just an apparent trailer, but the opening 7 minutes (approx) sequence of the movie, which is based on the November 26, 2008 shocking terror attacks happened in Mumbai. Well without any doubt, the whole 7 minutes video looks highly engaging and very deadly. Right from the first frame to the last frame, the video just enthralls you that eventually one would feel that horror, panic, terror and lastly Goosebumps in your body. At the end of video, one can literally feel how horrifying experiences would have been faced by those persons who are directly or indirectly involved in the attacks.
The long, yet very much engaging, sequence begins with some short lines, which explains what the makers are trying to say with their movie. And then it starts with Nana Patekar as Joint Commissioner of Police (Mumbai) taking a pledge in the court room that he will speak the truth and nothing else. After that, it is followed by a small boat of poor and common fisherman's, along with the entrance of the terrorists in the Indian waters, which includes the infamous Ajmal Kasab.
The scenes are shot tremendously well as RGV succeeds to re-establish the 26/11 terror on the screen. The background score in the first look video highly supports to maintain that terror and to hold the engaging supremacy throughout.
Well one can only say that Ram Gopal Varma had successfully strike the right chord this time! If this film would hit the audience, then the fading career of RGV will rise to great heights. Produced Parag Sanghavi, 'The Attacks Of 26/11' is made under the banner of Allumbra Production and Eros International. Actor Sanjeev Jaiswal enacts the character of terrorist Ajmal Kasab in the film.
